Another major challenge has been the lack of representation of women in leadership roles . Despite my skills , my career path has sometimes been reduced to my gender rather than my abilities . But far from holding me back , these obstacles have fueled my determination . They pushed me to create my own opportunities , to assert myself and , above all , to pave the way for other women - particularly black , Arab and mixed-race women - in this sector . Looking back , I realize that these ordeals strengthened my conviction that challenges are not brakes , but springboards for building a solid career and making a real impact .
Flashmag : What motivated you to create the 54 ÉTATS media and the AFRICA DIGITAL POWER agency ?
Priscilla Wolmer : AFRICA DIGITAL POWER is a strategic communications agency that helps its customers develop their image , influence and visibility on the international stage . While our roots are strong in Africa and the Caribbean , our expertise extends far beyond : we work with companies , institutions and leaders from all over the world . We favor demanding partnerships with visionary customers , driven by strong ambition and a quest for excellence . As for 54 STATES , I launched it with the desire to offer objective , in-depth and representative coverage of the political , social and economic challenges facing Africa and its interactions with the rest of the world . Among our flagship sections , the Energy section occupies a central place . We closely analyze the dynamics of the hydrocarbon sector in Africa and internationally , highlighting the strategies of key players , the challenges of energy transition and investment opportunities .
Flashmag : What are the most striking projects you ’ ve realized through these platforms ?
Priscilla Wolmer : With AFRICA DIGITAL POWER , we ’ ve had the honor of working with major industrial groups such as AGCO , the Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation , Fadza Group and the Ledya Group , as well as leading international organizations , including the African Development Bank ( AfDB ) and the International Telecommunications Union ( ITU ). These partnerships reflect our ability to operate at the intersection of the industrial , economic and institutional spheres , supporting players involved in large-scale , high-impact projects . We have contributed to the success of presidential campaigns in Africa thanks to solid , well-targeted communications strategies . We also played a role in lifting the embargo in Sudan by providing balanced , factual media coverage . In the field , we are working to re-establish fair and verified information . For example , the environmental unit of the International Criminal Court ( ICC ) has no budget to check whether what it describes as mass deportations are really due to violence or simply to the effects of climate change . Thanks to our reports , we have been able to film and prove that these displacements of largely nomadic populations are linked to extreme climatic conditions rather than to exactions . As an individual , I am regularly called upon in France and abroad to moderate high-level conferences attended by Heads of State , Ministers of State and influential decision-makers . My expertise has led me to speak at strategic forums across Kazakhstan , Bahrain , Panama and the entire African continent , contributing to crucial exchanges on global political , economic and geopolitical issues .

Flashmag : How do these two initiatives contribute to a better understanding and appreciation of African and Caribbean dynamics ?
Priscilla Wolmer : AFRICA DIGITAL POWER is a communications agency that strives for excellence on behalf of our customers . On the other hand , 54 STATES strives to provide a balanced , accurate and often disconnected vision from the monolithic discourse heard in other international media . We work to highlight local dynamics , whether cultural , political or economic , by showing the diversity and richness of these territories .
Flashmag : You ’ re constantly working with rulers from several countries in what is , I ’ d say , a fairly politicized world . How do you manage to remain impartial in your communications ? In your opinion , what makes the governments of these countries trust you to communicate their events ?
Priscilla Wolmer : Discretion , professionalism , reputation , loyalty . As far as communication is concerned , we adhere strictly to the mission order , our scope , and the delivery of orders . This means respecting our customers ’ objectives and expectations , while acting ethically and professionally .
