The city awakens under an almost defiant light. The sun beats down on the facades, cars glide along the avenues, and palm trees sway as if nothing serious could ever happen under such a blue sky. Yet, behind the beaches, the hotels, and the postcard scenes, another city breathes. A city made up of exiles, mingled languages, unfulfilled dreams, invisible workers, and memories carried from one continent to another.
It is in this city that a young man harbors an idea.

He may not yet have the resources to match his ambitions. He has neither a major media conglomerate, nor an army of journalists, nor the kind of investors who turn a hunch into an empire. But he has something even rarer: a reason to get started.
He wants to give a voice to those who cannot speak.
And above all, to those who do speak, but whom the world does not listen to. Those who express themselves with an accent, a wound, anger, or awkwardness. Those whose words come too late, too loudly, or in a language that the powerful do not take the time to understand.
