War of Worlds Prosperity through War Vs Prosperity through Peace
The year that is ending has seen the war in Ukraine as a highlight , which has camouflaged other wars such as the one currently taking place in Yemen , or the Congo war which has already claimed millions of lives for the last 20 years . e unskilled observer while reading events would simply understand that a war is a war because the destructive e ect is the same , however , it would be misleading not to place wars in their contexts . Finding their meaning in the temporal and material space that defines them as well as the dynamics that support them . If in past centuries wars were often linked to territorial expansion which implied an expansion of living space , with a consequent enlargement of the surface and population of a Kingdom or a State
, a principle which has peaked with the Second World War . It is important to note that after this war which facilitated the creation of the United Nations which will apply as a general principle the intangibility of borders , there has been a real decline in wars of territorial claim and grabbing . However , wars , far from it , did not stop . e 20th century having been one of the deadliest that humanity has ever known , preceded an even more violent century the 21st century , but however with a more targeted violence because before if the strong often clashed by ego and ambition of supreme domination , since the end of the 20th century the strongest no longer confront each other for fear of mutual self-destruction , because of nuclear weapons .
