I read the script of support the girls and I liked it right away. I didn’t simply like it, I was like a bit obsessed with, since I kept have it in my mind. What made this movie interesting, is because it was written during the #metoo movement, and a lot of people were a bit worried about the material that was going to be put out. It’s a small budget movie that has been well helped by film festivals like Sundance, South By South West, and Seattle film festival, the attendance of the audience during festivals really helps a lot in the visibility . It means the world to us. It means, everything it’s different from studio movies, that have the push and the money. Magnolia that produced this film is really small, and festival networks and film critics are very important for its survival.
