Sculpting is cultivating culture, carving, shaping ideas, memory, emotions, bringing intuition to life in matter. Artist to the core of her soul, Sandrine Plante is a portrait sculptor whose livid faces captivate the senses and force the questioning of those who look at them, since she seeks in the depths of her roots characters that one could not imagine ex nihilo, because they seem to be conceived in an authentic reality.
At the bend of a chat, Sandrine was kind enough to confide in us without reservation. It is normal that she nourishes the curiosity aroused by her aesthetic and memorial work. These are the first words that impose themselves in the face of the poignant reality of her mastery.
Hi Sandrine and welcome to Flashmag tribune.
Honestly, I was a bit captivated by your sculptures, they are so real and meaningful.
Sculpture what brought you there? Did you think you would become a sculptor when you were a child?
Hello, first of all thank you for your sensitivity to my creation and it is with great pleasure that I answer your questions for Flashmag.
