Years of great encounters, for example another Congolese Benji from the Neg Marons. The song “Je veux que tu me mentes” (I want you to lie to me) written by Singuila. And then outside of Warner's a duet with Fally Ipupa “Kobosana Te”.

When I look back 20 years, these are meetings with different artists and audiences. Christina Milian, Wiclef Jean… Lots of discoveries, including regions of France. I am proud. It's true there have been ups and downs, but that’s normal for any musical career.

It's a job that has helped me reveal myself. Music for me is a therapy. For me, there is nothing better than being on stage.

Very few know it, you were born Sophie Lynnsha Jordier Marthely. Marthely, a name very well known in Afro-Caribbean music, because you are the niece of one of the founding members of the legendary Kassav group, Jean Phillipe Marthely (Editor's note we interviewed Jacob Desvarieux last year for Kassav's 40th birthday) Has wearing that name influenced your passion ? because when you're a Marthely you have to excel in music, right?

Lynnsha: Actually I'm Sophie Jordier, Marthely is the name of my mother and my grandmother. I am a Miss Jordier, not a Miss Marthely.
