En 2012, Vogue Italie a écrit un article sur da Silva, mentionnant qu'elle avait une "grande clientèle en Afrique, où ses créations sont largement reconnues grâce aux médias et aux célébrités qui les soutiennent". En 2014, elle a été mentionnée une nouvelle fois dans Vogue Italia, où la créatrice a parlé de sa rencontre avec la rédactrice en chef du magazine Franca Sozzani, qui a fait remarquer sa collection et l'a stockée chez le détaillant de mode en ligne yoox.com. Les créations de Da Silva ont également été présentées dans Vogue Black , et Arise Magazine.

Rahyma sleek showcased some of her creation November 23rd and 24th 2019, at the conference Center of the Hilton Seattle airport. The 2 days event saw many fashionistas navigate through the colorful creations of the designer.
Born in Nigeria, Rahyma Sleek emigrated to Canada where she Attended Georgetown University of Toronto in 2010. After graduating from the school of design, she started to make custom made garments for her clients. 2 years after she decided that it was time to launch her own brand. Thus, was born the eponym brand Rahyma. With the growing demand of her outfits, she opened an adequate workshop for a bigger production of her creations.
